History
Marittima Ravennate SpA is one of the oldest ships' agencies in Ravenna; it was established in 1929, originating from a shipping company existing since 1907, therefore the services offered resuIt from many years of experience in the maritime field.
In 1991 a branch office was opened in Ancona and in 2000 another one in Venice. Since September 2008 a new branch is present in Trieste port too.
The company handles vessels of different types such as dry cargo, tankers, chemicals, LPG, passengers, supply vessels, tugs and barges. It also acts as custom broker and average agent and is the local representative of P&I Skuld and Korea.
Through a network of reliable correspondents, Marittima Ravennate can also ensure agency service in all italian ports.
CERTIFICATIONS
Since 1929 Marittima Ravennate is present in shipping, so the services offered come from long experience. In the 1996 it was obtained from RINA the quality system certification in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9002 rules, concerning shipping agency, customs broker and average agency services. The Company was one of the first in Italy to be certified for such activities. In October 2003 it was obtained the new certificate in compliance with the new UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 rules.
In 2009 AEO certification (Authorised Economic Operator) was achivied from Customs Authority too.
